What is the heart condition you recovered from? Redbull contains a significant amount of caffeine. Caffeine increases heart rate and the force of contraction of the heart, therefore the heart must work harder. For people with normal hearts this is usually not a problem. People with heart conditions may not be able to handle the increased work their heart must perform and they could develop symptoms like shortness of breath or lightheadedness. Since you are having these symptoms you should stop using caffeine products and ask your doctor. Ginko biloba thins the blood by inhibiting the aggregation of platelets, which are the cells in the body involved in clotting blood. Therefore, your risk of bleeding would be increased especially since you are on Warfarin. You should discuss this with your doctor. Good luck with your exams.
I would certainly suggest against it at this moment. The reason being that the fact that Red Bull is only meant to be consumed 3 times in a day or it could harm somebody without prior heart problems, is scary, that’ss why idon’tt drink the stuff, despite the nasty taste. It really wakes you up, but with some people it affects you more. I wouldn’t drink it because it would affect your cardiac system, which is where your problems seem to be, it’s like somebody with asthma smoking, NOT ADVISABLE!
Energy drinks in themselves are bad for your heart. I would imagine that as a person with past heart problems, they would be even worse. The energy drinks probably aren’t helping with the focus either.
I don’t think the ginkgo will cause any problems with your heart though. Rather than red bull, may I suggest tea? It’s effects are quite wondrous.
