I haven’t heard this, and I think it’s very lowly and snake-like.
But this type of thing seems to be happening more and more in the US.
Like, our local community college has started closing down on MLK day, but they refuse to close for President’s Day.
Why do you ask? Is it because you had planned to actually go out and do something all day in commemoration of our veterans? You can still do something after school if you are sincere.
I don’t see how making kids go to school on a holiday is a slap in the face to anyone. They are more likely to be reminded about the service of others in school than they will be at a backyard cookout.
Do you have any proof of this?
