What Is Java And It’s Purpose, How Can This Be Used As A Tool For Anything?
What exactly is Java I’m never used it before and every time I turn on my yahoo now it pops up at the bottom to request an update. I click on continue to allow and nothing seems to be happening am I missing something or is this something I should ignore?

Java is an interpreted programming language. It’s used on everything from Windows, Mac, Linux and even Mobile Phones. There are also many web applications online that use Java to run (perhaps even some part of Yahoo), and thus it will launch the Java virtual machine on your computer to run the code. The Virtual Machine/runner will automatically check to see if it needs to be updated and let you know. If you agree, I believe it performs a silent (non-visible) upgrade, so there is nothing to worry about.
