U can use the veh w/o NOC upto 1year provided if u r not going to permanently shift to pune. but in any case u may have to intimate the RTO of your temprory location of the change of address and may be u have to pay a nominal road tax for the temprory period as per the state RTO rules.if ur stay is going to be less than 3 months in that location u need not pay any tax. but remember if your stay is going to be beyond 3 months then In my opinion (but the octroi/entry tax u might have paid at the time of entering the state)
.(It is called in different names like entry tax etc….. I would suggest that please ask for the specific duration of stay .(in the case of Maharastra & other states) with DR Pasricha who is an experienced and expert COP (D.G.Police) through the website indiacar.com and also u can browse through various types of questions and answer by the experts for cars and bikes and any other RTO relted rules. I’m not sure I understand your question, but why not call the local police dept., tell them your situation and ask them. They will appreciate that you cared enough to ask and will help you any way they can.
